Belgian company (food) – Ad interim inhouse counsel (IP/IT/Media)

The Client

Client is a Belgian company (food sector), part of a larger international group. Client has offices in the Belgium (both in Wallonia & Flanders). Due to the nature of its activity, Client is often challenged with questions related to food law & marketing regulation.

The Project

IFORI was approached by Client who was facing a short vacancy between two counsels. IFORI was asked to provide full time inhouse counselling and to advise all relevant business entities on their questions. Ifori reviewed and drafted contracts, provided trainings to the employees and even set the first steps towards a new GDPR compliance program.

The Outcome

Today, the gap with the legal team of the Client was successfully bridged. Due to IFORI’s intervention Client has suffered few negative impacts and the normal business flow of the company was not affected.
