Reinhart Van Poucke

Reinhart is a patent advisor at IFORI. He combines a broad scientific basis with a strong analytical insight and a pragmatic approach.

Reinhart studied bioscience engineering, option chemistry and bioprocess technology, at Ghent University and subsequently obtained a PhD. During his PhD and his later work as a postdoctoral researcher, he further refined his research-oriented and analytical approach and experienced first-hand how decisive a well-thought-out IP strategy and a timely freedom to operate analysis are.

He has experience in drafting and defending patent applications in a variety of technology areas, including chemicals, pharmaceuticals and food. In doing so, he always strives for the widest possible scope of protection.

At IFORI, Reinhart assists innovative companies and research institutions in protecting and valorizing their inventions.
