Nils Dillemans

Nils is Senior Legal Counsel at IFORI and a qualified Benelux and European Trademark and Design Attorney. He has extensive experience in intellectual property law, with a focus on trademarks and designs.

Nils began his career as a lawyer, gaining experience across various areas of law. He then spent six years as an IP attorney at Gevers, where he advised a diverse client base, from SMEs to multinationals, across a wide range of sectors. After a short professional period outside the IP field, he returned to the profession in early 2025 at brantsandpatents, before joining IFORI in September 2026.

In his advice, Nils always starts from his clients’ business reality rather than from a purely legal approach. He is convinced that an IP advisor only truly makes a difference when he fully understands the company and its ambitions.

Nils holds a Master of Laws, a Master of Management and an Advanced Master in Intellectual Property and ICT Law from KU Leuven. He is fluent in Dutch and English and has a good command of French.
