Retail/e-commerce – DPO as a service

The Client

Client is a Belgian e-commerce company of approximately 300 employees. Client has offices in the Belgium and the Netherlands. Due to the nature of its activity, Client is often challenged with questions related to data protection.

The Project

IFORI was approached by Client who wanted to appoint IFORI as external DPO. IFORI informs and advises in all matters related to data protection (including all necessary agreements), monitors compliance with the GDPR and other data protection regulation and gives trainings to the employees.

The Outcome

Today, Client has a corporate culture where data protection is at the top of the list. Due to IFORI’s intervention Client has compliant contracts, policies and practices.
